Welcome to The Wigan Pier Town Chorus.

The Wigan Pier Town Chorus is a group of individuals who meet to sing together in four part harmony in the 'Barbershop' style or 'Barbershop Harmony' as it is widely known.

We currently meet to practice once a week at the Swinley in Wigan and also perform together at concerts or 'sing-outs', as we like to call them, at various locations to carry on the 'Barbershop' tradition. More information about the Pier Town Chorus and traditional barbershop singing is available in our 'History' and 'Gallery' pages.

Barbershop singing is regulated by the British Association of Barbershop Singers or BABS as they are affectionately known.
