Music of the Wigan Pier Town Chorus.

Singing in four part harmony relies on accurate timing and closely controlled vocal harmony which means that an impromptu performance of just any song isn't possible. Choruses therefore have a set repertoire of songs that they have rigorously practised so that any song from the repertoire can be performed at any time the chorus is together.

The Wigan Pier Town Chorus is constantly adding to its repertoire to maintain the performance of traditional songs while adding more modern pieces to appeal to younger audiences.
